Promoting the rights and inclusion of women and girls. Uganda faces significant challenges in achieving gender equality, despite progress in some areas. While legal frameworks and policies exist to promote gender equality, persistent gaps in economic participation, educational attainment, and political empowerment remain. Additionally, women in Uganda experience higher rates of violence and are less likely to access justice than men. Richard Mbayo is ready to take charge and address gender equality challenges.
